HISTORY of CIDER WEEK in NEW YORK

Cider Week New York, established in 2010, is the nation’s largest statewide hard cider celebration, drawing thousands of consumers and industry professionals annually. With hundreds of events across the state, it showcases New York’s thriving cider industry—home to over 95 active cideries and the country’s second-largest apple-producing region. The event engages a broad audience through digital platforms and media coverage spans major outlets like The New York Times, Washington Post, and Bon Appétit, further solidifying New York’s status as a premier cider destination. Produced by the New York Cider Association and featuring members of the Association, Cider Week continues to elevate NY Cider as a world-class beverage, connecting enthusiasts, consumers, and industry professionals locally and internationally.
